Jonathan Fletcher

Jonathan successfully completed the Humber College graduate public relations program and has an undergraduate degree in geography from Brock University. His research interests include sustainability, social justice, and diversity and inclusion. Over the past three years, he has had the opportunity to work in social media for the Township of South Algonquin, and secure two internships at a public relations agency and tech start-up, both located in Toronto.

As a first-generation Black queer man, he is very used to being the only Black queer person in marketing spaces and environmental spaces. Through his career, he hopes to educate the greater population about the importance of sustainable community-based living and diversify the environmental sector, providing a platform to people of colour making waves in the industry.
