Zamani Ra

Zamani Ra is the Founder of CEED Canada, a not-for-profit organization that co-designs and tailors eco workshop methods for social housing community stakeholders. CEED’s aim is to increase climate action in underserved communities through equity-informed cultural knowledge exchange. Zamani has over twenty years of experience in community capacity building. In the past 6 years, she has successfully secured over $100K in neighbourhood improvements with overwhelming support. Zamani is also a founding member of BEA: Black Environmentalist Alliance, and a member of the first and newly established Tenant-Staff Oversight and Advisory Board for Toronto Community Housing’s Confronting Anti-Black Racism Department and so much more. She is a Goddess of Inspiration, Warrior of Words, Sharer of Voices, Creator of Curated Content, Builder of Communities, Paradigm Shape Shifter, and Promoter of People Power.
